In fact, if history is any guide, the OLA members I spoke to were probably underestimating the true number of infiltrators.

For what it’s worth, we all operated under the assumption of a constant police presence. There’s nothing to hide.
The bamboo spear thing is hilarious, though. I have to wonder if I’m partly responsible for that rumor, since I spent the better part of the occupation creating banners on the ends of bamboo poles. The very last one I shaved the end down to a point so I could plant it in the ground.
Most of the bamboo poles onsite went into stupid geometric sculptures.
