It’s pretty obvious those commentators were trying to cow him into thinking that being more moderate and calm sounding is the only way to be; “why don’t you apologize” and “oh how dare you for saying such terrible things” and all that.
Yeah, when Stalin starves a bunch of people to death it’s a horrible crime against humanity, but when insurance companies actively deny people coverage and literally design this system so that they make money off of the sick and dying, we’re supposed to be polite and talk about it like civilized people.
Gotta love that American Exceptionalism.
