Moved here 3 years ago from MO. (Helendale)Have had 2 home break-ins, 3 vandalisms to our home, 1 car break in (driveway), and last stopped when 3 guys were shoving and cussing around kids and a woman. Stopped and seperated them twice, when they went at it, a little boy was knocked over and a woman took a right. When I stepped in, the 2 fighting each other beat me. One with his fists, one with a crowbar. When Dipity (deputy) showed, knew them all, knew the were on parole, and KNEW they were squatters. Broke facial bones, fractured jaw, lost teeth, and have lost most vision in right eye. $17k in hospital bills. Of all this crime, they caught only the guy with crowbar. Had been out about a month for manslaughter. Born and raised here, left for 15 years, and came back. Selling houses for losses just to leave. The deputy told us to stay locked in our homes if not at work. HAVE WITNESSES to that. WE ARE OUT!!!!

Other articles about that last one, the DCB robbery, mention that the robber got away on a mountain bike. Nothing like low-tech to really put one over on the authorities.

I just hope that the money is being funnelled into revolutionary organizations that do stuff like feed children and indoctrinate them against capitalism.
