It teaches children to accept the way things are, a few living lavishly while the rest struggle to survive. It teaches children to respect and admire those in power regardless of how that power may have been obtained. Children are not taught however, a healthy mistrust of government, corporate, religious and educational institutions. Institutions that work to keep them docile, uneducated, fearful, and defenseless. Few children leave school equipped with the knowledge and courage to fight against tyranny. That is why I am starting a school.
