Mark Ames’ book Going Postal, a searing expose on America’s rage massacres in schools and workplaces, has just been released in Italy by Isbn Edizioni, a cutting-edge independent publisher based in Milano. The Italian edition of Going Postal is titled Social Killer: La Rivolta dei Nuovi Schiavi. You can check out Isbn’s site here, and order the Italian-language edition of Going Postal here.
Also, the British edition of Going Postal, published by Snowbooks, is printing up another edition to coincide with the upcoming BBC2 documentary “Going Postal,” in which Ames worked as a consultant and on-air interview subject. The “Going Postal” documentary, according to Ames, is “absolutely devastating, brutal, and shows a side of Middle America–an all-too-common side, actually– that for some reason no American documentarian had the brains or the guts to show.” All credit goes to director Paul Tickell, Blakeway Productions, and producer-wizard Storm Theunissen. Read the press release for the BBC2 documentary here.

Hey,
I’ve got your book, but it’s not a fancy Italian edition. How close is the translation?
Anyway, how much do you get paid when your book gets published overseas like this?

Alright, that’s awesome. Now where is the new Gary Brecher?

I actually prefer the “Social Killer” title to “Going Postal”. Also, the Christlike photo of Ames is always awesome.

Where is Mark Ames nowadays? I think the last I heard Russia kicked him out? He must be disappointed as hell. Now that he’s back in the USA all he gets are envious stalker fans like me posting comments on this site. Well, that and some fame and money. And getting everything right. Jesus, now even the Italians are putting out Ames’ book. Weird. I want to hate him, but I envy the shit out of him.

Mr Ames,
Are you writing a response to the new Columbine book?

Funny, my immediate thought was that he looks more like Henry Rollins than Christ.
