I don’t know, interpersonally I’ve had some good relationships with lesbians. Once you take the stupid ideology out of it, lesbians could lead us into the future. They’re well-aware of fucked up everybody’s intuition is. Of all the loathsome people I’ve known, some of the few I still wish I knew are lesbians. They’re good people.

ISSUE ONE! I ask you, Mark Ames. Pff. And I thought the trillion other panel discussion shows were worthless. Such a tired, idiotic paradigm. And what a surprise to discover that Quad City Thunder games ain’t much better, though that lady with the wacky goggles had the right idea. Why’d she take them off?

In Argentina they put a clown right next to their Matt Lauer on the morning news who mocks the whole thing while the news guy is trying to be all serious. We need that kind of thing here. Full on fucking clowns, running around the table and honking their noses while Woodward is trying to talk on Washington Week. That would be awesome.

Man, I really hate to see that there has to be meta-(meta-)reporting on the air, but discussions like this seem like they’re going to be more and more important in the future. People need to be really conscious of what is going on, not by quantity (as the discussion of the flooded 100 days coverage showed) but quality: people need to be sharper about detecting when they’re being fed bullshit.

It’s just not going to get better unless we all get smarter about this.

I’m with you guys on the whole class war and taking down the plutocrats but what pisses me off about ‘the left’ is this whole notion of “hate speech” and “hate crimes”. It just seems so cowardly to put a gun to someone’s head for saying something you don’t like rather than actually arguing with them or just ridiculing them. And the idea that you would impose a harsher penalty on a murderer for thinking the wrong things when he committed the crime just seems Orwellian in the extreme.
