Many in the group were carrying makeshift torches as they marched, breaking storefront windows and writing "anarchist graffiti" on buildings, according to Capt. Steve Clark. Many businesses sustained multiple broken windows including very large storefront windows at Urban Outfitters and The Rittenhouse building. “Can Someone Please Explain To Us What “Senseless Violence” Means?… ”
Sure.
‘Senseless violence’ describes what happens when -for example- Country A is attacked by a handful of renegade criminals and it decides to respond by INVADING & OCCUPYING Country B ..which had absolutely NOTHING to do with that attack.
Senseless violence is also what usually results from undermining & meddling with other nation’s political systems and democratically elected governments just because you don’t like the way they think or because you perceive an imaginary threat.
Senseless violence will also rear its ugly head everytime that a hypocritical nation runs RAMPANT around the globe as an unelected sheriff pretending to represent justice, decency and freedom even as it clearly & MERCILESSLY TRAMPLES all of these cherished virtues.
Lastly, senseless violence also usually results in creating SENSIBLE VIOLENCE as an INEVITABLE & logical response.
Senseless violence, in short, simply means that the U.S. Federal government is still operating and conducting BUSINESS AS USUAL.

Goddamnit. I’m a Santa Cruz resident like a 5 minute walk from where this happened. What was I doing last night? Sitting on my ass playing video games. I totally would have gone if I’d known that this was gonna happen. I wonder what kind of people were doing it – middle class college students, smelly hippies, or all the panhandlers and bums.
Also, fuck the Rittenhouse building.

I simply wished to say thanks once again. I am not sure the things I would have used without the entire thoughts contributed by you directly on that area. It had been a traumatic difficulty for me personally, but considering your specialised tactic you managed that forced me to cry for happiness. Extremely happy for the guidance and even have high hopes you are aware of a powerful job your are putting in educating others by way of a site. More than likely you’ve never got to know all of us.
