And I just realized it's directed by Tony Scott. It all makes sense now. The guy has had a fanatical fetish with green filters for years now. They wanted to do a terrorism movie, but were too shy to do one with Aye-rabs? The Dumb-dumbs missed out on the obvious, instead of shooting in NYC they should have shot it in in Detroit. Wow, they could have had an Amtrak hijacked and used the ruined Michigan Central Rail station for location shots. Michigan even subsidizes films made there. Now that would have been amazing. You say there is no subway in Detroit, so what there is a rail tunnel to Canada, good enough for me. Since they refuse to use Arabs as terrorists, I think they should have gone with Chow Young Fat, a Chinese illegal immigrant that needed money to pay off the people who smuggled him into the US because the Detroit economy collapsed.
