  So last night I’m watching the stream and someone mic-checked that the cops had covered their badges. So the stream reporter just walks over and looks at the cops and reports that no, the cops haven’t covered their badges. Then one of the cops overhears this and says to the stream reporter that only a some the cops have their nametags covered in honor of a fallen comrade (weird custom, but that’s what he said) and about at that point I’m realizing that the broadcast news is about as obso-fucking-lete as it can be.
