
National-Bolshevik Party leader and
eXile columnist Edward Limonov was
arrested on 7 April in Altai krai by
counter-intelligence agents of the
FSB (former KGB) and transferred to Moscow's
Lefortovo Prison, where he awaits arraignment.
Limonov faces a possible
eight years imprisonment for violating Criminal Code Article 222
(illegal
possession, transfer, distribution, storing, transport or carrying of
firearms,
ammunition, explosives), according to an
Izvetsia reporter who
spoke with the FSB's press center.
