www.dailymail.co.uk -- British troops fighting in Afghanistan should buy off the Taliban with ‘bags of gold’, according to new Army guidelines. Cash can be ‘a substitute for force’, the new counter-insurgency field manual states. Army commanders should also talk to Taliban leaders with ‘blood on their hands’ in a bid to hasten the end of the increasingly heated conflict.
