blog.sfgate.com -- The recordings and transcripts, which include a large protest Oct. 25, the general strike Nov. 2 and predawn rioting Nov. 3, can be viewed here .The transcript from the Police Department’s computer-aided dispatch system reveals the use of undercover intelligence officers conducting surveillance among the crowd and provides details on how members of the SWAT team, commanders and outside agencies responded to protesters.One such report on the transcript describes one of many incidents shortly after midnight Nov. 3: “15/Broadway — bottle-thrower pinched between you and skirmish line on Franklin (Street). Male in cami clothing.” An intelligence officer adds, “He’s going to run, need someone to come in from Franklin. All of Co Co County is here and Sonoma, he is IRO (in rear of) the scrimmage line throwing bottles.”
