Cheers:Even if the food is still a little on the sketchy side, the fact that they haven't raised ruble prices at all here since the crisis hit makes this one hell of a bargain. Stuff yourself silly for less than $10 (including beer). The decent dal and samosas cost practically nothing. 2-for-1 drinks during happy hour 5-7pm. Great if you're in the neighborhood... Darbar$$ Cheers: Fashions come and go, Asian markets collapse, but Darbar remains. Our general counsel has developed a newfound love - the kima spicy lamb. The rest of us still love the spinach dal, and buttery chicken dishes. Magic combination of flavor, affordability, warm atmosphere, and super service. Kohinoor$$ Jeers: The Crisis won. Cheers: Little India now acepts credit cards. The latest addition to Moscow's Indian cuisine offers spicy delicious, super-cheap orange-metro-line Indian joint, arriving just in time to replace the recently Starvin' Ivan-ed Kohinoor as an eXile favorite. Kick-ass kebabs and paneer. Our stingy-with-praise general counsel gave the murg kaday two briefcases way up. Outstanding decor and an Indian classical ensemble worth cheering for. Also has Georgian food. And no, despite what Lionel may have said they do NOT serve beef. Maharaja$$$
Cheers: Prices not quite as ridiculous as they used to be. Used to be the top Indian place in the days before a place actually had to be good to be a classic; great service and presentation. Setting that'd make a Mogul feel at home. Moscow Bombay$$ Cheers:Sturgeon tandoor rocks; good service, convenient location; they actually make it spicy, so that it resembles real Indian food; try the plov. Tandoor$$ Cheers:We thought this place was mediocre, but a visit by our triple-stomach-rolled former sales manager is said to have proved otherwise. Paneer-e-shola (fried cheese in a spicy onion and tomato gravy on a sizzlin' plate) ruled; rogan josh (lamb masala) was properly spicy and tender; good-sized portions, decent dal.
