High desert living in Victorville offers outstanding opportunities for plentiful, secure employment, home ownership, higher education, safe neighborhoods and nearby desert, lake and mountain recreation. Victorville has 20 parks, two municipal golf courses, highly rated schools, truly affordable housing and so much more…

Yes, a lot more… In just three years, it’s developed one of the highest unemployment rates in California, a respectably high crime rate, twice the number of parolee residents than any other city in the county, a half-dozen jails and penitentiaries, the worst high school dropout rate in the country and a whole lot of liquor stores.
Oh, and then there are the ghetto birds. They buzz rooftops on an almost daily basis, blaring descriptions for criminals on the loose from a megaphone. If this isn’t the ideal suburban lifestyle, I don’t know what is.

Very cyberpunk dystopian. You should be wearing mirrorshades to complete the ambiance.

This image of California today does make the supposed “Police State” of Belarus look like a “Land of the Free.” Thank you John Walsh for using your desire for revenge over your son’s plight to make such great changes to the quality of life in my land of birth. May Benjamin Franklin beat the shit out of you when you reach the pearly gates. (“The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either.”)

Not to be a buzz kill but this was most likely “A Child Is Missing Alert.” I don’t think anyone has ever gotten around to telling the he VVPD that we can not understand a damn thing they are saying over their helicopter’s PA system. But I bet all they wanted was Yasha and everyone else to go outside in hopes that someone would notice the lost child. The VVPD do this every once in a while.
@2, Ron Paul is an uber douche bag.

Levine, you really must do something about the lack of proper fung shooey in that Saharan GULAG you call a back yard. Hook up a hose, sprinkle the scrub, sow some seeds, plant a yucca, get an ag chopper from ABC Rents and dump Agent Orange on everything (but spare the Roy Rogers Sunset Hills Memorial Park).
Life is good.
You have so totally arrived!

Those copters flying around for hours must cost California residents a small fortune.
