mark ames ratigan show msnbc tea party1

Mark Ames appeared on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show to talk about the Tea Party slave mentality, how Ames and Levine scooped their journalism peers on the billionaire Koch brothers’ furtive sponsorship of the Tea Party campaign, and how America’s democracy has become so corrupt it’s beginning to look just like Russia’s “virtual democracy.”

Mark Ames is the author of Going Postal: Rage, Murder and Rebellion from Reagan’s Workplaces to Clinton’s Columbine.

Derp derp derp! That’s the only sound I can make because I spend all my time trying to get my billionaire master’s taxes cut, and my Medicare cut, and anything my billionaire rightwing master wants, I’ll do. Especially when he wants me to shove my nose into his ass–that’s the best!

DERP DERP DERP, TEA PARTY REPRESENTS REAL AMERICAN INBREEDING WHICH IS OLD, WHITE, BANJO-PLAYING, AND LOVES TO FUCK ITS OWN SONS ‘N’ NEPHEWS IN THE EARS, AND VOTES ONLY REPUBLICAN, DERP DERP DERP!

Mark Ames again hits the nail on the head, in stating that the tea baggers have a slave mentality. The sad irony is that if they mange to elect any of their tea bagger candidates to Congress the first thing that O’donnell et.al. will do is go over to K Street and let everyone know that they are open for business As to the void on the left wing it should be noted that everytime the left protests our current situation whether it economic inequities, endless wars etc, they are either criticised, ridiculed or if they go out and protest on the street people are tasered and/or pepper sprayed by the police. The tea baggers are always left alone to rant by the local authorities.

Message of Solidarity with the workers and students of France from the exploited masses of the United States

We, in the United States, know better than any people in the world that the neo-liberal model is in equal measure: 1. exploitative 2. an abject failure.

Do not be fooled by The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The Financial Times, which for decades have heralded the American economy and free markets as the greatest engine for growth and prosperity. For the wealthiest, perhaps, as their accountants steal all they can – but for the rest it’s nothing but a death trap The workers, the poor, and the middle class lead lives of steep decline, unbearable debt loads, isolation. 60 to 80 hour work weeks, wages so low that room and board become a luxury, no health care, no education, starvation by obesity. And no voice for the average man or woman.

And yet we know the score – the bankers and the wealthy broke the rules then stole the wealth – and then you’re asked to give them two more years of your life, to cover the costs of their uncontrolled avarice. Two years now, schools for prisons later. Say Never!

Here, we didn’t take the streets and were routed – and now the anger of the masses is being directed against themselves – the morbid stench of fascism rising.

The revolt in France, in contrast, represents unified humanity, the hope of a decent world, of prosperity, shared wisdom, true solidarity.

Neo-liberalism cannot tolerate people who demand control over their lives – yet people who do not control their lives are slaves. Do not become pliant and defeated like the American working class, slaving away at Wal Mart for sub-poverty wages. Heed our warning, raising the retirement age is just the beginning. They will take everything they can – your union, pension, education, home, and life.

The streets of France are again the beach-head for humanity’s resistance. Here’s where we turn the tide against the unrelenting offensive of global capital.

People of France do not give in, you are standing up for 99.9% of the people in the world. We need you to win. Defeat Sarkozy! Defeat Greed!

I’m only 22 years old and am already abandoning my weak, off-message liberal brethren in favor of the centrist and right-wing nihilistic oligarchs with whom I have some connections. I give up on the American people who have proven time after time to be nothing more than slaves–it’s time to go to a top tier law school and look out for my short-term interests. Let’s pray that Pax Americana lasts at least another 20 years to give those of us who share my vision a taste of what I have seen the oligarchs enjoy in the decades since the 70’s.

I was drinkin’ in Bratislava. My pal mentioned his classical “winners and losers” speech. I have never forgotten this marvel. It boils down to this: so-called free-market capitalism creates a winner-take-all environment. It doesn’t matter how smart or productive you are. Crapitalism, with all of the patent attorneys, etc. is not a catalyst, particularly in its late form, of innovation or of anything, really. Crapitalism is a cancer that needs to be destroyed. The French people are surgeons who keep their leaders very afraid, just as they should be.

Maybe you didn’t get the memo Mr. Ames, but slavery is set to make a huge comeback in the 21st century, along with the entire litany of social ills, brutal politics and Malthusian afflictions that post-Enlightenment liberals thought we had finally vanquished. The truth about the modern world is quite dark, so much so that the Western liberal mind can’t really come to grips with it. If you want to see where the post-Enlightenment project has gotten us, visit some of the darker corners of the Third World like Haiti or Sub-Saharan Africa and see your progressive programs in action. The Tea Party movement, for all its faults, is an inevitable step along the devolutionary path to a new tribal dark age. Stop appealing to some phony Judeo-Christian morality Ames, because it has little future in our age of extreme environmental overshoot and imminent chaos and death. Human life is about to become very cheap, and absurd Western concepts such as freedom aren’t long for this world.

I know Mr. Ames, who is obviously a nihilist, agrees with most of this, so I’m not sure why he expects anyone to think him sincere when he gets on his high horse about the evils of oligarchs and slavery. Just play along Ames — the country and the world may be going to hell, but you have the right mentality to excel in this environment if you can just jettison the last pieces of your Jewish moral baggage, embrace the moral void in which we all swim, and start cutting throats. Good luck!

Without runoff voting (or its highly-evolved cousin, instant runoff voting), even our system of elections is winner-take-all. We even vote like cancerous crapitalists.

  • 23. boson  |  October 23rd, 2010 at 7:23 am

oh man, I mean I admire the French for standing up against Sarkozy’s robberies, but you have to see how timid and defensive their demands really are, as in “let us keep what remnants of the welfare state we still have”. I’m afraid that they’re going to lose just because of their modesty. You probably have to be much more savage and aggressive to defeat the oligarchs.

  • 24. Allen Archem  |  October 23rd, 2010 at 7:32 pm

When Mark Ames goes on MSNBC and tells the truth like this, unvarnished–it makes me nervous. I’m the type who spent his life taking money from oligarchs to beat up on poor blacks, groups like ACORN, because right-wing suck-up closet-fags like me can only get off beating up on the weak, and then posting comments anonymously when I see someone who actually has balls and fights power. I’ve never fought power in my life–I try to suck up to power and beat up on those who fight power. That’s what it is to be a pussy your whole life–to be like me, Allen Archem. I’ll write things like “When Mark does something as faggety as me like attack ACORN I might be inclined to take him seriously” but even I know what a loser I am for writing that. In the meantime, I enjoy the laughs he brings when he appears on MSNBC looking like a fucking movie star compared to the freaks we have left on the Rightwing–I’m about to shit in my pants, while blurting out befuddled monosyllables. Did you get that? “Befuddled monosyllables.” Yeah, I thought that up myself.
Jesus Christ, Mark! Take me with you! Why won’t anyone put me on TV? You are a comic genius, it’s painful to watch! I’ll stay here in the anonymous commenting section, hidden, where I belong.

  • 25. Don Davis  |  October 23rd, 2010 at 7:37 pm

Okay here’s the thing. It hurts me when Mark talks about things no one will talk about on television, like how the Tea Partiers are a bunch of corrupt slave suck-ups. If only Mark would tell me exactly what I want to hear and what I tell myself and what my right-wing fag comrades write about obsessively–if only Mark would tell me what I already believe, I’d feel so much better. Like for example, Mark, why not give us an amazing look at George Soros, as well as a few Mexican Billionaires who are manipulating the left with their bottomless pockets of money to manipulate how they think they feel.

    Right Mark?

Now I’ll sit down, and shut up.

  • 26. John Dreden  |  October 24th, 2010 at 4:26 am

I liked how Mark was on TV saying things that upset my oligarch boss while I sit here trolling. Mark, though I won’t put my name on this, just know–I wish I was you. Why did god make me a spineless fag shilling for the rightwing billionaires? Why, god? Why am I a fag???

  • 27. T.B.  |  October 24th, 2010 at 6:21 am

I agree with Ames about the Tea Party. Reminds me of the old saying, “the slave knows more about the master, than the master knows about the slave”. The slave, or marginalized Tea Party members, essentially share the same ideology as the master, or rightist government. The point is, Tea Party Members have not developed any real strategy to bringing about any meaningful political reform.

  • 28. Dan Posner  |  October 24th, 2010 at 9:10 am

How come I keep reading what happens to comments here and pretending that I’m not getting annoyed out of my mind? Why don’t I have a life? Why aren’t I outside doing something, rather than sitting here jerking off, looking at Mark’s face, and trying to convince eXiled readers I’m not seriously bothered when in fact I’m going out of my freakin’ rightwing billionaire-suckup mind! Help me for god’s sake, put me out of my misery please!!!

  • 29. Mdog  |  October 24th, 2010 at 9:17 pm

All I think about every day and every night is George Soros. God I hate George Soros. Can I read yet another takedown on George Soros anytime soon? Not the Soros who meddled in Euro financial affairs, but the one who funds media matters, daily kos, acorn, etc. Hmmm……I read takedowns of Soros all the time and each time it makes me feel good because it makes my rightwing billionaire bosses feel good. I mean gosh, like, you’re such a hypocrite! Oof, I hate hypocrites. Grrrr, oo it makes me so angry! Ames is still the man though–and I’m still the anonymous commenter. Ah well. Call me “right-wing fag who does the bidding of my billionaire masters, and my billionaire masters don’t like Soros because he doesn’t support tax cuts for billionaires, so therefore, I, lonely troll commenter, will attack Soros, because I hate billionaires who don’t want tax cuts for billionaires. Yabba dabba doo.”

  • 30. az  |  October 25th, 2010 at 7:18 am

I think it would be fair to say that the liberals suffer from this slave mentality as well, seeing how they refuse to fight for anything that would result in demise for all or most oligarchs rather than just some of them.

  • 31. Plamen Petkov  |  October 25th, 2010 at 11:11 am

er, the vid freezes about 35% in and never continues. Does this happen to other people too?

  • 32. SK  |  October 25th, 2010 at 8:58 pm

Hmm, if the teapartyers are merely serving plutocrats, then whom do trolls like me take orders from? Oh yeah, I take orders from the butt-maggots serving the plutocrats. So, here’s how I play house nigger: I’m going to pretend that there’s an equivalency between the tea-party house negroes and Dylan Ratigan, because he also works for someone right? Thanks, Dylan. Thanks for making me look like the sad house negro I am. All I can do is resent you and pretend that you’re just the same, when I know it’s not true. Me: spineless. You: ballsy.

Goodnight, guys. I love sleeping. It’s where I forget about my spineless faginess for a moment, and dream that I actually fight power.

  • 33. Zhu Bajie  |  October 25th, 2010 at 9:52 pm

Hopefully all this sturm und drang will produce some music or literature of note.

  • 34. Zhu Bajie  |  October 25th, 2010 at 9:55 pm

Guys, I hope you realize that the oligarchs are not particularly smart. They will screw themselves over in the process of screwing you over. For example, public health is likely to breakdown and old-time diseases like cholera, malaria, polio are likely to make a comeback. After all, sewage and water treatment, anti-mosquito measures all cost money that no one wants to spend. Also, ignorant fundies are refusing to vaccinate their children against diseases which YOU can get too. Polio, eg, strikes down even the rich and powerful, like FD Roosevelt.

Plamen, you may want to ditch Firefox and install Chrome. I’ve had better luck with it.

  • 36. DopeAddict  |  October 31st, 2010 at 9:20 pm

Teabaggers have slave mentality? And we need someone to go on TV to say this? Let’s all join the 24-hour bullshit machine where we tut-tut during Keith’s show, then laugh at Jon Stewart while feeling smugly superior. Why even waste time with this crap? If your life sucks fight back in whatever way you find appropriate, don’t waste your energy getting caught up in the fight between just to the left of fascism v. just to the right of fascism. Silly.
